Red Letter Communications is pleased to announce the hiring of Erik Mathre as VP, Creative Director.  The result of an extensive search, Mr. Mathre brings an impressive resume, positive attitude and the talent needed to continue the agency’s legacy of outstanding and results-oriented creative messaging.

According to Jim Riley, Red Letter CEO, “Whether it’s branding, retail, corporate, consumer-directed or business-to-business, successful service to our clients relies on the continuous delivery of ‘un-ignorable creative.’ We were looking for someone who could both make it rain and facilitate the remarkable talent of the 25 full-time creatives we already have. In Erik, I think we’ve found an ideal solution and leader.”

During his creative career, Erik has worked on both the client and agency sides of marketing communications.

Erik has led brand, direct marketing and digital efforts across a range of business-to-business and business-to-consumer clients including AT&T, American Express, Ameren, Capital One, Children’s Hospital, Con-Way Freight, El Mayor Tequila, Energizer, Liquid Fence, Microsoft, NationsBank, NationsBank Investments, Pitney Bowes, Purina, St. Louis University, The Hartford, Jenny Craig and Outreach International.

His side hustles are photography, and travel adventures with his wife, Rebecca, daughter Brita, and dachshund, Thor.
