Jim Riley Named Southeast’s 2019 Friend of the University
Jim Riley, founder and Chief Executive Officer of Red Letter Communications, was named 2019 Friend of the University by the Southeast Missouri University Foundation. In a news release from the university, President Carlos Vargas-Aburto extended his sincere thanks and appreciation to Jim for the “heartfelt contribution he has made to this institution for many, many years.”
The results of Jim’s service to the community can be seen throughout the Southeast University community and beyond. His leadership has helped provide opportunity for students, improve city streets, bring new jobs to the area, build the new public library, and help provide support for local fire, police and city staff.
According to Red Letter President Bruce Robert, “Anyone who has met Jim knows he is a fireball of sincere, positive and relentless energy. Jim’s unmatched passion for being of service to others is the foundation on which Red Letter is built. Our Red Letter team strives to emulate this principle with our clients and in our community involvement.”
Jim has lived his life by embracing and celebrating diversity among people, and in doing so has attracted friends from all walks of life. It’s gratifying to see Jim being recognized as the true friend he certainly is.
Congratulations on this well-deserved recognition, Jim.
